Rett-White || More Than Meets The Eye Rett-White Ford fulfilled dreams to those whose desires were to own one of the many Ford classics that we see today. Before sporting the name, Walnut Creek Ford, Rett-White (name originated from owners Rett Turner and Cecil Whitebone) Ford was a well-known local dealership in Walnut Creek, California. Because of its connection with Ford Motor Company, Rett-White Ford acquired many exciting vehicles. One vehicle, in particular, for which they were campaigning, was the rare, ‘6811/42 Cobra Jet hardtop. That vehicle later on competed in one of their sponsored drag races, and won! The win bolstered Ford’s reputation and gave Rett-White the attention that they needed and deserved.
