Return to your first love How do you worship God today? In those days that are past , it seems important to analyze how we come to meet the Lord (church, prayer meetings, and time for personal prayer ) . Christ could say: John 4: 23 23 But the hour cometh , and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth , for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks . How do you worship God today? Luke 2 : 41 41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover. Luke 2 : 42-43 42 When he was twelve years old , they went up according to custom of the feast . 43 And when the days were passed, and they returned , the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem. His father and mother did not saw . Luke 2 : 44-45 44 Thinking he was with their traveling companions, they went a days journey , and sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance . 45 But did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him . Luke 2 : 46-47 46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers , listening to them and asking them questions. 47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers . Luke 2 : 48-49 48 When his parents saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son , why hast thou done so to us? Behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 He said to them : Why are you looking for me? Do you not know that I must take care of my Fathers business ? The word tells us is quite surprising in which Joseph and Mary at the end of a days march saw that Jesus was not with them. Beloved, every year Mary and Joseph repeated the same route , the same movement , the same attitudes amount to the temple with the Lord. That said, do you know why Jesus was not with them? Yes beloved , because he ascended to Jerusalem according CUSTOM ie ( SIMPLY BY religiosity or USED BY ) Beloved , what state of mind do you come to church on Sundays , or prayer meeting , or else when you pray in your personal intimacy with the Lord, in what state of mind are you? Is it HABIT ? By CUSTOM ? When you pray , do you wait eagerly the time that you set yourself flows quickly to attend to your occupations or to sleep ? Or are you still in this passionate search always get something new from the Lord, to know more, to enter into new dimensions with him? When this situation happens, the flesh sometimes pushes us to look at those around us who seem to have the same degree of involvement they had previously , before losing our zeal. Yes ! They have not found! Beloved this is not comparing yourself to others to justify your loss or zeal to strengthen you by telling you Okay, Im like everyone else that you will recover your Jesus . I have good news for you, RETURNED TO JERUSALEM ! RETURN TO TEMPLE ! Y - RETURNED THIS TIME WITH A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE GOOD ! Luke 2 : 46-47 46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers , listening to them and asking them questions. 47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers . BACK TO JERUSALEM that this time was no longer a matter of custom or habit , but this was FIND AT ANY PRICE JESUS who became thereby INTEREST CENTER NUMBER ONE ! Hallelujah! Return to Love vottre first siblings ! m Not a religious man or woman who goes to meet his God out of habit or because the hour of prayer arrived ! No! But be thou an Enthusiast ! A passion for Jesus! Let your heart burn with eagerness that you can not have even a minute for you to be able to pray to your Lord. Communion with Jesus be your priority! Become again the temple full of the Spirit, where Jesus is sitting in the middle , listening and speaking . Or where your heart is struck by the beauty of his wisdom whenever you meditate His word and you get a revelation of the scriptures brings you to realize how much he is God ! If you had lost the zeal , do not despair , return to first love may be hard, you can feel that you will not succeed , and many will be there to remind you in a direct way or indirect your language differences and serve you that you are no longer worthy to behave with the zeal of departure. Remorse can eat you. This was certainly the case of Mary and Joseph to whom he still took 3 DAYS before returning to their son , the heart certainly remorseful and regrets, the cortege travel that kept to index probably saying but what kind of parents are they, how can you be so irresponsible Yes it was hard for them, but with perseverance , they found Jesus , who returned with them.
