Rev. Itotoh Commends Delta Government, DESOPADEC For Massive Transformation Of Oil Bearing Communities The District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Nigeria Sapele Chapter, Rev. Dr. Raph Itotoh, has commended the Delta State Government including its agency DESOPADEC, for the massive infrastructural development spread across the oil bearing communities of Delta State. Rev. Itotoh, the assistant general superintendent (newly elected) while appreciating God for making it possible for DESOPADEC to remember the church of God, commended the Delta State Government and DESOPADEC in particular who deem it necessary to consider churches in its developmental drive as well as their concern for the welfare of humanity, pointing out that this is exactly what the grassroot needed. He remarked that the best way to play politics is on the development of the people by touching their lives positively, adding that the media should take their message to the Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and DESOPADEC that the church is grateful for the wonderful gesture of DESOPADEC in constructing a 6 unit of toilets, water bole hole and a generating set at their convention ground Amukpe – Sapele. He prayed to God Almighty to continue to strengthen Delta State, DESOPADEC and Chief Ofa whom he says they are using as a point of contact for the Lord to continue to lift him and as well lavish blessings upon him and protect him in all ramifications of life, as he commissioned the toilet facilities built by DESOPADEC for their church to the glory of God Almighty. Rev. Itotoh, advised Christians to serve God diligently and remain faithful to Him so that at the end they will make the Kingdom of God. Chief Ofa who represented DESOPADEC at the commissioning of the toilet project, said he was happy that it was completed in a record time for the usage of the people while listing other of such facilities provided by his commission in the area to include those of St. Stephen Anglican Church, Ogorode Road, another 6 unit toilet facilities, water bole hole and a generating set, which is also due to be commissioned. Ofa added that DESOPADEC decided to touch these churches so that worshippers would benefit immensely from it whenever they are pressed, especially the one at the Assemblies of God Headquarters Amukpe, the convention ground. The Commissioner was also at Crowther Primary School Sapele and Ufuoma Mix Secondary School, Abeke Road, Sapele, where he expressed sadness over the slow pace of work going on at a 6 unit toilet facilities in those schools as he advised the contractors to come back to site to finish those work on time and to specification or face sanction by the commission.
