Rev. Richard C. Whitcomb Fellowship with Christ requires faithfulness to his word. Why should we expect God to hear our prayers when we refuse to hear his word? That’s why Jesus said first abide in me, then let my word abide in you, then you will pray and have answers. Sometimes we don’t think God hears our prayers, when the truth is, we don’t hear His answers. John 14:21, 23 “Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them. All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
