Review on Pacinos from Californian Executor Editor Robert Price Bakersfield Californian Last week, back at Kern County, we visited a Tehachapi pizzeria, Pacinos Spaghetti Factory. Guess what? The pizza was better than either of those places in Manhattan. It was thick with toppings and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. I liked the New York style of crust a lot and Pacinos crust was close. The decor at Pacinos was nicer, too. Warmer, more fun. Lots of Al Pacino posters. The servers wear fedoras, a nod to Pacinos gangster movies, I suppose. (The actor has no connection to the restaurant, I should note.) The prices were more affordable, to top it all off. There you have it. Three stars for the first pizzeria in America and four stars for the pizza at an Italian restaurant in Kern County that cannot have occupied its little strip mall for more than 10 years.
