Reviewing some transits and my recent posts, I would like to make an observation and perhaps an apology. In July of 2012 Uranus turned retrograde in Aries about a degree from square my natal Uranus and had been opposing my natal Sun since April. After turning direct it opposed my Sun again in January and February of 2013. In March of 2013 comet PANSTARRS made perihelion on the lunation preceding my birth (Szygy is the technical term) also opposed my Sun and square natal Uranus (9 Cancer). Another Uranus square natal Uranus in April 2013, and Uranus turning retrograde wthin 2 degrees of my Ascendant on July 13, 2013. The retrograde square to natal Uranus is today, October 17, 2013. Consider that the transits were in the 12th near the ascendant and natal Uranus lies near the nadir (4th cusp). During this period I have had more than the usual allotment of computer problems, there have been continual delays, complications, and mistaken choices in getting my web business rebuilt and producing as well as financial difficulties and losses connected with it. During this period I have expressed opinions ever more partisan and sometimes given mere opinions rather than systematically review charts and patterns. Im less than thrilled to find myself becoming the prey of ideas. For what bias has colored my judgements and presentations, I apologize. Yet, Aries and Uranus even moreso is the sign of new ideas and new explorations. Erupting, so to speak, from the 12th makes them a bit suspect. Im hoping to recover a more balanced and objective view and to take advantage of correcting overstatements and errors. And, Im hoping to offer more systematic analysis. I have to admit that during this period new ideas and new combinations of old ones have been coming fast and furious. Distracting. Sometimes one feels stunned. And I have noticed that cruel Mars tendency sometimes associated with Uranus that carries logic to cruelty. Its been an interesting experience and I cant say that I will or even intend o completely reform. I do intend to be more evenhanded and considerate or perhaps considering. And I do plan to collect the positive and/or useful insights and notions of the peeiod and develop them. Strict traditionalists of course, would likely dismiss this.
