Survey: No Answer. -- Scott Walker (R-incumbent): Included a special needs voucher program in the 2013/2015 Governor’s budget proposal (later removed during Joint Finance Committee deliberations): “I am proud to say the Wisconsin Special Needs Scholarship will be included in my 2013 – 15 Biennial Budget, which I hope will begin a legacy of dedication from Wisconsin Governors to special needs students.” From the pro-voucher American Federation for Children 2012 Election Impact Report: “With strong leadership from Governor Scott Walker, legislators in the state that is home to the nation’s oldest publicly-funded private school choice program are now looking to create a statewide special needs scholarship program.” Survey: No Answer.
