Rhapsody Of Realities Trust In His Faithfulness! - Sunday December 1st, 2013 – Pastor Chris Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised; (Hebrews 10:23). The Lord Jesus, reflecting on the crises of these last days warned that, ...because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold (Matthew 24:12). Indeed, many are beginning to lose hope, wondering if God still cares and protects. Of course, He still cares for, and protects, His children! Psalm 91:3-8 represents Gods sovereign declaration with regard to His commitment to protect and take care of you- even in the midst of all the troubles and crises in the world! It says, Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.... How comforting this is! Trust His Word. Youre shielded, and divinely protected against the onslaught of the enemy: whether at night, or in the day, the Lord protects and takes care of you. Your faith response, therefore, should be, The Lord is in me, with me, and for me; therefore, I refuse to fear! No matter how adverse or severe the situation or the circumstances around you might be, refuse to let your heart be troubled! Keep your focus on Gods Word. He said in Isaiah 43:2, When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Trust and hold on to His Word, for therein is your safety. Confession: My trust is in the Lord my God; Hes my shield and buckler, my strength, and safety! Hes my refuge and strong tower; Im strong in Him; rooted and grounded in His love, and flourishing in every area of my life. Glory to God! Jeremiah 17:8: For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. 1 Year Bible Reading Plan: 1 John 2:15-3:1-10, Ezekiel 11-12 2 Year Bible Reading Plan: John 16:23-33, 2 Chronicles 3-4 Rhapsody of Realities Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
