Rhema Daily Meal Title: A NEW THING. Text: isa43vs18-19: Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, i will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make way in d wilderness n rivers in d desert. This scripture is very important for societal, national and personal reposition for greatness. This scripture was,Gods declaration to the children of isreal, and isreal is a type of d church. (18). Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past.(NIV) Aaah! Many are stuck today bcos they are still basking in the euphoria of the past, some are stuck in their career, ministry, marital life, finances, academics etc. They are stagnanted bcos they are still dwelling in d past. There is no meaningful achievements bcos they have allowed d victory of yesterday to becloud today. Apostle paul gave us a wonderful secret concerning d motivational reason why he accomplished much in his lifetime. Phil3vs13: Brethren, i count not myself to have apprehended: but this ONE THING i do, FORGETTING those things which are BEHIND N reaching forth to those things which are BEFORE. when you study scripture to see places where paul took d gospel, you will be amaze. Theologian had to create a map for it. What is d secret? forgetting those things which are behind. This is one basic secret to repositioning for greatness in any area of ones life. God said, Behold i do a NEW THING. In ur career God is doing a new thing. Dont get carried away by d breakthrough of the past that you cant see what God is doing. Brethren, there are new frontiers to reach, new mountain to be taken, new record to be made, new path to be found new inventry to be invented. All you need to do is reposition for greatness. in the early 1900s, there was a man by name owen jackson who was d olympic record holder, many thought dt record cnt be broken, they need to be alive n see what Usain Bolt is doing.. The irony of life is that, many people make d place where God made a stop-over for them, their final destination Brethren, look God is doing a new thing, in every area of ur life.
