Rhubarb Rhubarb.....I watched something about the Chelsea Physic Gardens the other day. Now there is a place really worth visiting! . Anyway they looked briefly at the common and garden Rhubarb. Many will know that rhubarb can be used as a strong laxative. Its roots have been used as a laxative for at least 5,000 years. If one drinks the juice when its pale it will act as a very effective laxative ,BUT according to Chelsea Physics Garden, the Apothecaries Garden, and they should know, if its taken when the juice is dark & concentrated it will have the opposite effect! Herbal Magic !
