Rich Lord exciting excerpts from today: Attorneys for three police officers accused of falsely arresting and beating Jordan Miles today called two of the Homewood mans former acquaintances to testify. They apparently hoped that Mr. Miles former close friend, Ryan Allen, 21, now of Wilkinsburg, would say that the plaintiff had a Mountain Dew bottle at the time of his Jan. 12, 2010, arrest, and frequently drank that soft drink. Mr. Allen, though, steadfastly claimed that he remembered no details of his conversations with Mr. Miles or an FBI agent who investigated the case, nor did he recall any of his testimony before a federal grand jury or at the first trial in the case. Im here to tell the truth, Mr. Allen said, noting that hed been subpoenaed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Attorneys for the officers asked Ms. Wooding about an ammunition magazine she said she found under her garbage can the morning after the incident. She said that she told a relative of Mr. Miles, who lives in Texas, about the clip, but that after the conversation, when she returned to her front yard, it was gone. She pointed to a clip which has inscribed on it Glock 9 mm, Mr. Sansone said. Did you know, maam, that Mr. Sisak carried a Glock 9 mm? Under questioning by the officers attorneys, she denied that Mr. Sansone told her which clip to pick. ---------------------------- Have you ever seen him show disrespect to anybody in authority, or for that matter anybody? asked Mr. Miles attorney, Joel Sansone. No, said Mr. Rothermund. (CVS Manager) ````````````````````````````````````````````````````
