Richard Dawkins blames Religion for war and see a world with out religion as a world that can move towards world peace. Others in the past have made similar claims based around a ideological perspective on the world and latter found to be wrong. For instance the Political-scientist Shumpeters defined the move towards liberalism and Democratic - Capalisum as being a move towards a more peaceful world. Yet its since been demonstrated international relations and peace is far more complex then a democratic process, the free market and individual freedom.
