Richard Dawkins talks about how there is no evidence of the very foundation of his belief and then goes on to talk about how intellectually damaging or dangerous religion is...how can he not understand that evolution, that is Darwin evolution or molecules-to-man evolution, is actually a religion itself and that he has faith even though he believes that I doubt well ever find anything definite and that there is no evidence? How can he say faith is the great cop out when he himself states there is no evidence? This is called an arbitrary belief system. Believing in God and the bible are not arbitrary because its based on something. For me, the bible confirms itself understanding the integrity of the design that its 66 books penned by 44 people on 2 continents over 2000 years in different languages that didnt even know each other that all have the same central message that can be compared with the hundreds of found manuscript evidence. And when studied youll find it has origins from outside our time and says to be inspired from one deity who claims to be God of all gods. And the more we study about modern science the easier it is to read. There is a lot of imperial evidence that confirms several foundational biblical truths, prophecy and accounts. My faith is definitely not blind, arbitrary or a cop out. I would even say I no longer have faith, its absolute. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
