Riches. I panicked last Sunday when I saw in our church bulletin - TopicsExpress

Riches. I panicked last Sunday when I saw in our church bulletin that I was scheduled to sing a song on Sunday night. Preaching and teaching never bother me, singing scares me to death. Sunday afternoon I grabbed my old guitar, searched the bookshelves of my Library at home, found an old songbook called Songs of Praise and Hope, and saw my Mothers handwriting on the back page Hiwassee Mountain Fair, August 7, 1977, Maude Pearson. I opened a drawer to get a pen and noticed a note I have cherished for years and read a million times; a crayon drawing of a tree, three flowers, a bright orange sun, and the words I love you Daddy written across the sky. On back of the drawing are the words daddy I wish I colud go but am to little, followed by a heart and signed Rebekah (she had hidden this treasure in my suitcase many years ago before I left for Guyana on a mission). The old guitar was given to me by Deacons in 1984, men I loved then and still do today.. The songbook was given to me by my sweet Mother in 1977. And the drawing was given to me by my 7 year old Princess with long golden hair. All treasures. All priceless. All worth more to me than all the gold in California. A Treasure is measured by the Value you place on it. Take time to take inventory of your real riches. You might be surprised at how wealthy you really are. Do good today.
