Rider minute: u/17 Elijah Davis Impressive trophy for Elijah Davis at the Cycling Qld Awards on Saturday where he was runner up for under 17 Road Cyclist of the Year. His achievements this year included a silver and a bronze at the State Road Championships, and selection in the Qld team for the Nationals. He won the 5 stage Balmoral Junior Tour and won the sprinters green jersey at Battle on the Border where he placed 3rd on GC. He set a new record at the Goldstars prologue, and had wins at Summer Series round 1, Ipswich Open road race, Kangaroo Point road race, and the Metros crit along with 9 other podiums. He capped this off 2 weeks ago with a silver and a bronze at the Qld track champs in his first crack in the under 19 age group. He started riding 3 years ago. Here are some pics of his progression.
