Ridiculous and hilarious dream of the month #2: So Im at UNSW, in one of my classes, and it is the last tute of semester. I receive an essay back I submitted extremely late, though my lecturer is positive, and assures me that Ive done really well. I then tell him that I would like to speak with him after class on Wahabbism and terrorism, and the pristine concept of Jihād as understood by the Shari`āh, and he solemnly agrees. Much to my dismay, however, this discussion does not end up taking place, as class is interrupted by a strange bell, to which the entire university evacuates to the library lawn. Here commences an Arabic dance competition, in which everyone, from every faculty, takes part. Following the formation of teams, the academics and students alike start to cheer for the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood – one of the main sponsors of the event – and thereby begin to sell and distribute Al-Ikhwān Al-Muslimūn banners, posters, and pamphlets all over Kensington campus.
