Right? And Ill keep repeating; if you want to keep police officers as safe as possible, and you want to enable them to do their jobs in the most effective way possible, they must have the support and trust of the people they serve. Holding them to higher standards; getting rid of racist, abusive, corrupt, poorly trained, or otherwise ineffective officers; developing new and equitable policies, procedures, and practices; will only strengthen the department overall.
