Right, Im not quite sure where to start, but I have a story to tell yall. So basically I will give you the short version. So it started a couple of weeks ago when I got offered an amazing opportunity by the musical director of Syco to perform in front of the X-factors judges at the Baltic, and as they knew how I felt about doing the show, offered me the opportunity to perform infront of the judges without any strings attached. I agreed to this aslong as I could sing some of my original songs, which wasnt a problem and I got some absolutely fantastic comments off the judges! I was then invited to meet with the judges afterwards in private to discuss what would happen if I decided to do the show. It was so surreal and it was mint to meet the judges and the x-factor team. The whole day was a great experience, but after having a long hard think, and many more discussions over the phone with the X- factor crew, I have finally decided not to do the show as I feel it is not the platform for me. I really want to give the traditional route a go and continue writing more songs and further developing myself as an artist. By turning this opportunity down does not mean I have anything against the show! I think it is a great platform for singers and I have a lot of respect for Simon Cowel and the show he has built! I have met so many awesome people throughout this whole experience and I was so humbled by the whole thing! However have some really exciting things coming up which I am really looking forward to. I have been contacted by some really good people in the music industry who have lined up some amazing stuff for me which ,fingers crossed, will take me down the route I am looking to take :D x
