Right at this moment I am the most successful Black teacher in - TopicsExpress

Right at this moment I am the most successful Black teacher in America or anywhere in the world (listen). Don’t think that I am in some cheap boasting because Allah hates any self-conceited boaster, that I am not. I am making a statement that bears witness to my teacher. If I am the most successful Black person who is teaching and leading Black people today or anywhere in the world, success in terms of getting a message over and success in terms of response to a message. What do you think the enemy is thinking? Do you think the enemy loves Malcolm? Malcolm called the enemy a devil straight out for 13 years. I was with him when he whipped them and they were begging, “Is there some way that we can make a mend?” Brothers and sisters if Malcolm in that stage of his development whipped every scholar that debated him, it was not because he was a college man but he was a student of a very “sharp” man, a very wise man. Well then don’t you think there is a motive behind the Jews putting up this kind of money to make a movie? For all of these years since Malcolm’s death and since the life and times of James Baldwin who wrote the original script, nobody has been successful in making that movie. Why now? It is because of “Farrakhan.” He is a student of Elijah Muhammad and he is rising to prominence. The enemy says, “If we don’t stop him now the whole world will go after him.” And they are right! I told Spike Lee. We had a good talk together and I said, “Brother the enemy does not like you.” And then I said, “You can’t put those subtle truths in your film and think that it escapes the eyes and the ears of a man who has spent his life keeping truth away from Black people.” Spike Lee is a very strong young man. He is a very courageous and brilliant young man. Yes he is! But we can be strong and brilliant and yet deceived. I told our brother (Spike Lee), I said, “Ultimately they want to use you against me.” I said, “You see Brother, Brother Malcolm is dead and Louis Farrakhan is alive and white folk have never feared dead people.” They will always give you a dead man to follow after they have corrupted the man’s message. When you look at the movie or hear the movie and when you finally see the movie you won’t hardly recognize the wisdom that was in Malcolm from Elijah Muhammad just little spattering of it but it is very superficial because white folks don’t want to heal your wounds .White folks want to inflict more wounds. What they are hoping is in their portrayal of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is that some of us will get very angry and reproduce the scenario that lead to the assassination of Malcolm X. All of the emotions are present and there are those who love Malcolm tremendously and they do not want a caricature of Malcolm made in the movie. That is not Mr. Lee’s intention. Whether he shows them the script or not his intention is not to make a caricature of Malcolm X but certainly his intention is to properly represent The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the power of his teachings. But as Brother Khalid said earlier, “No weapon formed against the righteous will prosper.” ~The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan
