Right folks. Every year for the past seven, Loading Ready Run has run a charity game-a-thon for the Childs Play charity. A 24/7 livestream for as long as they can (currently at least 120 hours), they raise money through geek-themed auctions and adlib comedy sketches, as well as challenges, for donations. The game they are playing is Desert Bus, a side game for the unreleased Penn & Tellers Smoke and Mirrors that is one of the worst games in existence. The basic premise is that you drive from Tuscon, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada in real time. This takes eight hours. The road is perfectly straight, but the bus leans slightly to the right... They started bussing again last night at 6pm. So far over the past 7 years theyve raised over a million dollars for Childs Play, with last year being over $400k of it. Will they do better this year?
