Right, now the dust has settled its time for some objectivity: - if City win both their remaining matches, last nights result becomes somewhat irrelevant. The Chelsea match is where we handed the initiative back - we now need City to lose one game or at least draw both, as opposed to just needing one draw. - we are 1 point clear at the top of the table. Anything can happen in 180 minutes of football Thoughts from last night: - taking Sterling off last night was the turning point for me. All of our attacks came through him. We lost impetus when he was subbed and allowed Palace to get a foothold back in the game. - I thought Suarez and Sturridge wanted goal number 100 for themselves a bit too much. There were lots of opportunities to tee up a teammate in the 20 minutes before Palaces first that were seemingly squandered for a bit of glory. - bringing on Moses at 3-2 was an odd choice, especially with Agger on the bench - Yannick Bolasie is rubbish. He was made to look good by a tired and shellshocked defence. Anyone who suggests we should buy him needs a slap!! - it is worrying how little positional ability our back 4 has. The only one who wasnt regularly caught out of position/ball watching in the last 15 mins was Flanno Its not over. Beat Newcastle and just hope for the best :)
