Right so, in a follow up from what I was talking about earlier, if you would like to have someone who prays for you from one of the other congregations and potentially (but not necessarily) meet with those people then please just put a little comment underneath here. This list will then be passed to Norma Jones (Sams nan) who can get people praying! On a side note, I just want to highlight from the questions Adrian was asking earlier, that whilst I said because you dont say no to the vicar when asked about why I started reading my bible, that that was purely satirical. I am so glad that I have been challenged about reading my bible by Andrew and that has really changed the way I interact with God and the people around me. I truly believe that God was speaking to me through Andrew at those times. We should let ourselves be disciplined by God as a father does his children, because He is our father! It is such an important thing to get involved with His word and its such an amazing gift that he left it to us so we could know exactly what he is capable of and what he wants to do for us. So, if you dont read your bible intentionally (word of the series, got it in there) then I actively encourage you to get stuck in. Just find a story that you love: read Pauls letters, learn about what Daniel did, 1 Samuel (brilliant book), read Proverbs for amazing life tips, and of course dont forget the Gospel! What better way to refute the lies that the devil throws at us than to be able to know Gods promises and His grace. And dont just keep it to yourself, tell other people, Christians and non-Christians alike, find other view points, let others challenge what youve learned. I realise that this is less of a side note now...So...re-read the top because youve probably forgotten what I wrote.... God Bless you guys!
