Ringsend Swifts recorded their first 3 points of the season with a well deserved win over the Heights at the Rope Walk. We went 1 down with half an hour gone and kept that score until half time. In the second half we took control of the game and created more chances. With 20 mins to go Paul Ferris hit a 25 yard strike that took a deflection, looping over the keeper into the back of the net. Super sub John McGinley headed us in front with a great effort at the back post on 80th minute and with 5 mins from time, John peeled away from the defender and struck a great shot with his left to the top corner to secure a victory for the Swifts. All players put in great effort to ensure the victory. Well done lads. #RSFC
