Riot hit Kishtwar aftermath 28 year old Gujjar youth still missing Kishtwar, Oct 8, CNS: Police has failed to trace the a 28-year old Gujjar labourer who went missing, following communal clashes in Kishtwar on August 9. His family members told CNS that Dil Muhammad son of Ghulam Qadir Bakash resident of Balgram, Donandi was a labourer who used to feed his family by doing menial jobs in Paddar, Kishtawar. “The fateful day when riots erupted in Kishtawar, Dil Muhammad went missing and till date police is unable to locate him,” one of his family members said. Congress legislator from Inderwal Constituency had raised the issue in the Legislative Assembly and had urged upon the government to take measure in this regard. “There are apprehensions that Dil Muhammad has been killed by hooligans and his body had been thrown into the river,” Saroori informed the House and sought explanation from the Government. One of the cousins of the missing youth said that they are sure of his death but just want his body back so that they could perform the last rites. (CNS)
