Riot is the Free Speech of the Oppressed In what has become a nation of the uninformed bigoted ignorant, how else will the silenced poors grievances be made public? Of the many disgraceful accomplishments our culture should acknowledge, we are unmatched in our ability to warehouse and jail the poor and other of societies undesirables while covering up truly disturbing issues in favor of sensationalism, corporate/political propaganda and fear-mongering. Legislation should never silence free speech.Yes, that means every hateful, bigoted, racist, misinformed and uninformed right-wing piece of shit has the right to spew their idiotic nonsense.... just like Fox News does. The real problem lies in a culture that is ignorant enough to listen and agree with the haters, slimy politicians and the corporate propagandists. There was a time in America when the public was informed at least enough to recognize invalid, erroneous. hate-driven, bigoted free-speech making free speech a way of exposing the nut-sacks.....but in todays society of stunted attention spans and zero national memory....the self regulatory system doesnt work. Leaving myself and others no choice but to interrupt and speak out when we hear factually incorrect and potentially harmful opinion that is little more than ignorance on steroids and repeating self-serving propaganda.
