Rip George George Harrison (born February 25, 1943 in Liverpool and died November 29, 2001 in Los Angeles) is a musician, songwriter, singer and British film producer, guitarist and the youngest member of the Beatles. The son of a poor family in Liverpool, it is a childhood friend of Paul McCartney, which offers early 1958, John Lennon, for it integrates its formation, The Quarrymen. Three, they form the core of the group that became the Beatles in 1960 and, after the arrival of Ringo Starr and from 1963, one of the greatest phenomena in the history of popular music of the twentieth century. It also starts the cinema, basing the production company HandMade Films, which produces including Monty Python film Life of Brian, in which he made a brief appearance. It then has its ups and downs in his solo career, before creating in 1988 the supergroup Traveling Wilburys with Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne and Bob Dylan, training that produced two albums. First married to Pattie Boyd from 1966 to 1977, he married Olivia Trinidad Arias in 1978, with whom he has a son, Dhani. His appearances are rare in the 1990s, during which he participated in the project Anthology Beatles and worked occasionally with a hypothetical album, finally released after his death, Brainwashed. Lung cancer is diagnosed in 1997. He succumbs November 29, 2001, already weakened by an assassination attempt which he suffered in 1999.
