Rise of naari Shakti (Power of Women) in India! Indian electorate is finally getting back to its old Hindu traditional roots where women were adored as Gods. I am liking it. The latest 16th Parliament of India has 61 Women MPs. Four women MPs are elected from Gujarat BJP. A lady Ms. Anandiben Patel is going to take over as the Chief Minister of Gujarat stepping in to Narendra Modis vacant seat. India has four National parties headed by four ladies. Sonia, Maya, Mamta, Jaya. Out of these two ladies made impressive performance. (1) Ms. Mamta from West Bengal won 34 out of 42 seats. (2) Ms. Jayalalitha from Tamilnadu won 37 out of 39 seats. (3) Ms. Sonia as head of Congress now has 44 seats. (4) Ms. Mayavati a close friend of Sonia has no seats at all. It is a ladies fight hence men shouldnt comment on them :-) Mamta attacked media for not giving enough coverage of her impressive victory because she won 34 out of 42 seats. Where as Jayalalitha did something impressive. She bought the full front page advertisement across all national papers and printed her full photo praising her own glory. :-) In any case, women I salute you... As a practising Hindu I feel proud that this is our tradition. This is what Hinduism stands for... Ours is a religion which always facilitated women to empower themselves. Now compare that to Boko Haram which has abducted and selling their 12 years old girls to slavery. Compare that with Taliban. Compare that with Saudi Arabia.... Wake up and understand our Hindu classically conservative mindset. -Madhava Turumella
