Rising Sun Agro Limited RC 1146740 Dear brothers and sisters, it is my pleasure to thank you all for giving this initiative the opportunity to succeed. Exactly one year ago, I made a post here suggesting that we can pull resources together to build a world class oil palm industry in Igbo land without government input that would create thousands of jobs, return high profit, offer a rear ownership opportunity to every Igbo person who is willing to invest and restore the dignity of Igbo man as dreamt my Dr M.I Okpara and his team. This proposal received 100% acceptance but with serious doubts on credibility, possibility, sourcing of land, funding and long term but no single person doubted the profitability, readiness of market and the overall objective. We thought it good to share with us highlights of our performance in just few months. Rising Sun Agro Limited is a company with a vision to be a global player in oil palm production and refining. Key facts of the company are: 1. Made a case for the company via a post on facebook May 01 2013 2. Conducted the first meeting at Nike Lake Resort, Enugu June 28th, 2013 3. Registered with Corporate Affairs Commission on 11-Oct-2013 4. Acquired and cleared 100 acres of land in Umuahia Abia State under a lease agreement November 2013. 5. We have moved into the plantation 6,000 high –breed nurseries as seen in this picture waiting for rain and expert advice to plant them 6. We are in contact with Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research, NIFOR Benin for expert technical guidance. 7. We have registered with Fidelity Bank SME Forum for corporate governance and best practice 8. We have commissioned a an industry consulting firm to draw up our business plan, feasibility study, structure and corporate statements 9. We have opened discussion with Bank of Industries to support our processing plant 10. We are discussing with other land owners in Uzuakoli, Ngo Okpala, Ihamufu , Isiukwuato and Ukwa 11. Transparency and professionalism remains our watchword 12 The Phase1 of our project would end on 30th June 2014 with these deliverables: • 6,000 palms planted • Feasibility document • Web site 1. Our share value will move up from 5,000 naira a unit to 6,000 naira a unit from July 01, 2014. This means that it would take a new investor 120,000 to buy 20 units we bought with 100,000. This is industry best practice as advised by our corporate partners, Fidelity Bank SME Forum. You can see that your investment has appreciated by 20% just within a year. I would advise you to invest more before July 1, so that your new investment would gain the same 20% appreciation. Minimum investment is 100,000 naira with scanned copy of your international passport, driver’s license or national ID card and your address for filling with Corporate Affairs Commission. You can pay in instalments. Rising Sun Agro Ltd Account number 4010854285 Bank: Fidelity Bank Plc Head Office Branch With grace of God and willing hearts, we are set to move faster than you may imagine. While about 30 families are being sustained by this plantation at the moment, we would soon need many more sales persons on commission. Kindly ask questions or teach us what we need to grow. God bless you as you make your investment decision
