River and Mike are just starting to work on their routine! The circus? River says she has higher hopes! Like Americas Got Talent! Howard Stern is an animal lover. She might win him over!! Seriously though-River needs an adopter or a foster home that has experience with dogs. The challenge is that she needs a home with no cats and she is very choosey about the dogs she likes. River was abandoned on someones property and was tied out in their yard until she was brought to us. That is all that we know about her history. She loves our attention and really hates to be alone in her cage. The longer she is with us the more defeated she seems to feel. What else does she love? Toys and play time! She loves toys so much that she is obsessed with them! If River could have training at The Learning Dog Training and Enrichment Center she would really benefit from it. Positive reinforcement and social interaction would do her a world of good.
