From Wembley Park, riders began an arduous journey that would take them out of London to Tallington Lakes, Stamford. With periods of biblical rain and some tough rolling roads to negotiate, Stage 1 was certainly a challenge. Most riders are now enjoying a hard earned pint before retiring to their tents for a (hopefully) dry night!
