Road Trip of Grace I am writing this post with sleepy eyes as I have just got back from an East Michigan District road trip to Marion, Indiana to attend Requip 13. I left on Monday at seven am, and returned Tuesday, tonight, at 9 PM. Wayne Corderio and Paul Borden were the keynote speakers. The words of wisdom that they shared was both refreshing and challenging. I was especially challenged by Wayne Corderio to make God’s word a center piece of my life and both speakers challenged me to be courageous and serve Jesus over the demands of this world and the people of His church. The time was hectic as all my free time was spent on trying to complete assignments, but I am so glad I had an opportunity to attend. The best part of the trip is that I was able to get to know four pastors from my district as we traveled, roomed, and attended the conference together. It was a joy to share our ministries and our lives in Christ with one another. God’s kingdom is full of great people. My life was more enriched by their fellowship than any other facet of the trip. I am blessed.
