Road closures during Watford Half Marathon This year’s event will take place on Sunday 1st February. It will be the thirty fourth consecutive year that the race will start from Cassiobury Park. On the advice of the Police and Hertfordshire Highways, the race organiser has instructed to implement full road closures over the entire route. This is to minimise delays to all through traffic, and to ensure the safety of the competitors and officials. All local residents and services will of course have full access to all of the affected roads. The race will begin in Cassiobury Park at 10:30, leaving the Park at the Langley Way exit. The organisers hope that by giving reasonable notice of the event, any inconvenience will be minimised. Any support that you give to the runners will be greatly appreciated.
