)*( Road to Burning Man DAY 7. Here we are. Burning Man starts today. 60 000 burners are going to gather together in the desert, in Black Rock City, Nevada. A city that rises from the dust once a year. A giant 32 meters high Man, made of wood and love, is already standing in the middle of the Playa, waiting for us. For 8 days, were all going to party around him, and celebrate life. Were going to be whoever we really are, whoever we want to be. We will be surrounded by creations, and we will take part in it, in a way or another. We wont buy anything, your money is useless there. We will share and offer. Hearts and arms will be fully open. After this 1800 miles roundtrip across California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, driving and hiking into breathtaking landscapes, in boiling heat or in outstanding storms, always in good company Yann ( Farah , The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Buckley, The Eagles, AC/DC, The Red Hot, The Foo, some kick ass rock nroll on the FM... And oh yes, Sheryl Crowe, sorry but I love all her albums), I cant believe this is happening. Im so grateful. Im gonna be a virgin again. Touched for the very first time. Some of our friends have already started to set up our camp and prepared so much. I cant wait to meet these thousands people who come for the same reason. Give life to the vision they had in their dreams. Spread the love and celebrate intensely the fact that they are alive. And watch the Man burn in 8 days.
