#Roadtrip This new mark, the hashtag “#”, stamped before what I am doing these days means, in social media hipsteristo, the title goes more places, does more. I’m not sure where it goes, exactly, but hash I do. I have given in to the finite mystery of the Net. Here I am facebooking about twittering: An exhilarating scroll Breezing through the fabulous sentiments humans at publishing houses send forth to flocks of twitterists is like taking a brisk walk on a cool autumn afternoon on one of those artful sidewalks of New York. What an exhilarating scroll down avenues of blurbs with brightly colored images. Who says publishing is dead? Ha. Welcome the Great Write Way. Second day on Twitter June 25, 2013 I want to vomit. I was not brought up to promote myself. I thought that’s what a “promoter” does. And yet, I am here because I have to be here. I am here – driving on the electric Net. So I’m thinking of it like a road trip – only on this journey you zoom instantly from one literary commerce mecca to another – Twitter to Tumblr to Facebook and back to what’s becoming “dial up” – email. #Hashtagging all the way.
