Roasted Green Beans are a favorite here and this version is our got-to!! ********************************************************************* Roasted Green Beans with Bacon Serves 6 A delicious roasted green bean recipe that is perfect for a quick weeknight meal Prep Time - 15 min Cook Time - 30 min Total Time - 45 min Ingredients 2 lbs green beans, trimmed and rinsed 2 tsp olive oil 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp. pepper 1 tbsp. garlic powder 3 slices bacon Instructions 1.Preheat oven to 400 2.Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper 3.Line a small rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a baking rack on top of foil, on its lowest level 4.In a medium bowl place trimmed green beans 5.Drizzle olive oil over green beans and gently toss to coat 6.Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder over beans and toss again to coat 7.Lay green beans in a single layer onto the large prepared pan 8.Place bacon onto baking rack 9.Roast both pans in oven for 10-15 minutes and then toss green beans 10.Remove bacon and cut into bite size pieces and toss with green beans 11.Cook for an additional 15 minutes or until green beans start to brown and bacon is crisp 12.Serve immediately 13.ENJOY!
