Robbie said this was on in a post today - I never look at regular TV and for certain would have missed it. Cosmos, based on Carl Sagans book, Sunday at 9PM, on Fox and Monday at 10PM on National Geographic channel. Incredible, mind blowing video graphics - we just finished watching it. Very little of it was new to me, but it was still absolutely captivating - so exciting and fascinating. The scale, the enormity, and complexity of what we do know and understand is mind boggling. I can remember reading Carl Sagan’s book Cosmos when it first came out, and reading over and over the bit about there being 100 billion universes, each with 100 billion stars - (and who knows how many planets)... There just had to be life out there, many of them far advanced, and in possession of who knows what fantastic knowledge. I think every child should have to watch this. They would get a sense of the wonders science has to offer, and the challenges of the unknown. I googled it and found the show also has a facebook page. It is on again tomorrow on the National Geographic channel at 10PM eastern time. Don’t miss the opportunity to see it! https://facebook/COSMOSonTV
