Robbin Wohl: Amazingly, last night Cal Sheehy lost any hope of my support. He (and these are quotations from TNH) doesnt believe in paying down the sewer debt, doesnt view the massive debt as a dark cloud looming over Havasu...he has a mortgage, he still eats, he still goes on vacation, he still buys things that are important to him....and....he thinks the city has functioned and will continue to function without paying down the debt. What is the matter with this young man? CITY LEADERSHIP ISNT ABOUT ME, ME, ME, CAL. Its about listening to the residents who are TELLING US ALL that the sewer debt is a problem. Not everyone enjoys YOUR wage, has Flatley to pay their college education, buys whatever they want, gets to eat what they want or even WHEN they want. Lots of residents have lost their homes because they arent YOU, Cal, and cant pay their mortgages. LOTS OF RESIDENTS are sick and weary of the way this city has been functioning, the out of control spending, the crappy projects and bad priorities. They are angry about not being listened to. They dont feel important. They feel abandoned, ignored and overlooked by their elected and the two appointed officials. YOUR COMMENTS PROVE THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE, HAS GONE ON HERE, OR SHOULD GO ON HERE. And you certainly are NOT in touch with reality let alone the people who live here. You should really issue an apology for your arrogance. You just lost the election.
