Robert D. Myhan Robert Daniel Myhan Sr.,79, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Sept. 5, 2013, after an extended illness. His family will receive friends for visitation today at Highland Park Baptist Church in the original building beginning at 10 a.m. Brother Ted Vafeas and Pastor Bill Adams will officiate the service beginning at noon. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Mr. Myhan was a charter member of Highland Park Baptist church. He also received a scholarship to play football at the University of Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Gladys Myhan; and sister, Mary Lou Myhan Witt. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Katie Lee Jordan Myhan, of Muscle Shoals; son, Robby Myhan (Wendy), of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Jimmie Ann Myhan Adams (Bill), of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Adams, John William Adams, Megan Delaney Garner, Erika Rachael Sizemore and Robert Chandler Myhan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Seal, Doug Myhan, Danny Myhan, Matt Hollimon, David Hollimon and John Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Harrison Witt, Kenneth Myhan and Charles Gargis.
