Robin Williams death reaffirms to me that depression is no joke. It takes someone down to the level of non- functional or just functional enough to end it all. If people near you show symptoms(loss of interest, weight loss, quiet, etc) dont brush it off. My family member was on multiple medications with no improvement. Electric shock therapy was what was needed. Now he is back to his normal self. Just dont stand back and think it will pass because it probably wont.
