Robins unparalleled ability as a comedian is what stands in our hearts about the man more than anything....but his selfless work for charities such as the homeless and his skills in the dramatic vein cannot be forgotten either. His facial expressions, his tone of voice...he wasnt acting, he was LIVING the roles he played. No finer tribute can you give an actor then to be emotionally moved by his performance. Lets take Good Morning, Vietnam as an example. You can laugh your ass off one moment, then watch the expression on his face when he realizes he cant be in love with the vietnamese lady....and theres REAL pain there. DAMN, what an actor.
