Robs rant of the day: I was curious, Ive had a few posts by friends appear on my FB page that perhaps worthy in their cause, were originally posted by Britain First. Posts about Abu Hamza being found guilty, posts about Lee Rigby, to name a couple. So, Abu Hamza was found guilty and will be sentenced, fair enough, thats the end of it. Lee Rigby, a tragic incident caused by 2 murderers, not terrorists. I visited the Britian First page, well, what can I say? Do you friends of mine who share some of these posts actually have any kind of affinity to the Britain First group? Have you read some of the posts and replies on there? Do you really agree with them? Personally I dont, and I despise any group or organisation that uses the images of a dead man to promote their cause as sickening. Theres no memorial planned for Lee Rigby, his mother doesnt want one, but that reads to this lot as that shes scared because of the demographic of where she lives. The founders of the Britain First party were former members of the BNP and NF, and do you really believe that once they have ridded us of to quote them Muslamic grooming gangs that theyll stop? This is the organisation that supposedly collected for charity on Rememberance Weekend, not for the Poppy Appeal or Help for Heroes, but for their own organisation. And really, how insulting is it to go into an Islamic house of worship to hand out paraphanelia espousing all that is wrong with Islam and giving them bibles? Also, it shows the level of intellect of some of their so called supporters when they dont even know that Mohammed isnt a god, but a prophet. The same organisation that offers to meet up with their detractors in car parks to sort it out man to man.... So once the muslims are taken care of, whos next? Sikhs? Hindus? Jews? Non whites? Polish? Irish? While I can appreciate the sentiment that some of you might feel over the death of Lee Rigby and moral outrage it sparked, and that a suspected terrorist organiser has now been brought to book, and while I respect that your views may be different to mine, please please just check where you get some of your posts from. As much as I hate censorship and value everyones right to freedom of speech, theres a point where I dont want to see far right near neo nazi propaganda that focuses in on particular sensationalist issues.
