Rock Review I had to share. I had a convo with a friend not too long ago about the song Purple by Pop Evil. I broke down my review into 4 key pet peeves about the song, which Ill snippet here: 1. The nearly country song beginning 2. Its just a bit pussy for a hard rock band to sing about their favorite forkin color 3. It only hurts when Im sober reminds me too much of other songs that used the sober idea (and used it better)....Pink/Evanescence 4. on a flower permanent? Really? Thats a stretch...And a perfect shade of purple on a flower permanent/And I’m constantly reminded of a past that never bloomed is such an overwrought metaphor it makes my head hurt. I love Pop Evil but this song was so full of fail in my book.
