Rock & Roll never forgets; Happy Birthday today to the late Alvin Lee of Ten Years who would have been celebrating his 70th birthday today. Alvin passed away last year on March 6. He was 68 years old. In the song Im Going Home, Alvin and the band played a part of Blue Suede Shoes. Carl Perkins, who wrote the song, recorded it on Dec. 19, 1955, on Alvins 11th birthday.
