Rock-bottom Woodford United face one of the toughest tests of the season on Saturday when they host leaders Oadby Town in the UCL Division One. The Reds are yet to pick up a point this season having lost all eight of their games to date, while it’s a role reversal for Oadby. The Leicestershire side sit top of the pile after nine games, having won eight of those and drawn one. Last Saturday they were 10-0 winners over sixth-bottom Bourne. Last Saturday, Peterborough Sports proved too strong for Woodford in the Northants FA Junior Cup at Byfield Road. Kev Brader gave Sports an eighth-minute lead and further goals from Steve Mastin after 34 minutes and Liam Rodden in the final minute of the first half built a winning lead at the interval. Sports wrapped up the tie quickly on resumption with goals from Jordan Macleod on 49 minutes and Mastin three minutes later. The visiting tally was completed by late efforts from Mastin after 82 minutes and Matty Cox three minutes from the end.
