Rockin At The Hops is a Chuck Berry album which was released in 1960 under Chess Records. Its opening track, Bye Bye Johnny, was a sequel to Berrys earlier hit, Johnny B. Goode. The first 7 45 RPM single that appeared on Rockin at the Hops was Childhood Sweetheart b/w Broken Arrow in September 1959. The second single was Let It Rock b/w Too Pooped to Pop in January 1960. The a-side reached #64 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the b-side reached #42 on the Hot 100 and #18 on the R&B Singles chart. The last two singles – Bye Bye Johnny b/w Worried Life Blues (released in May) and I Got to Find My Baby b/w Mad Lad (released in August) – did not chart. This particular copy is a very RARE Review/Test copy with a white label. I have seen no other copies with this particular distinction.
