Rod Hall’s appointment as Moscow City Attorney means the city - TopicsExpress

Rod Hall’s appointment as Moscow City Attorney means the city has been looking for someone to fill Hall’s vacated post as City Prosecutor. At the Moscow City Council meeting earlier this week, City Supervisor and Acting City Attorney Gary Reidner reported: “the search was successful and we had some really good candidates so we will have someone on board.” Approximately 30 applications received, 8-10 didn’t meet minimum requirements, leaving about 20 qualified applicants. AT that point, criminal trial experience was the next factor. Hall selected five finalists from the pool; they interviewed on July 11th, and 12th, and the position has been offered to the top candidate, though no name has been released yet. The transition should be complete by August 5th, at which time Hall will move permanently into his position as City Attorney and Reidner will be able to return to his post as City Supervisor.
