Rode my horse today and i think i broke her lol :) Worked in the arena and we are both so out of shape its not funny but she did pretty good considering its only the 2nd time actually doing any arena work under saddle this year...bad mom! :) played on poles and barrels and we suck but had fun. Then after we were both tired i rode her around at a walk without using reins they were just hooked around the horn and she did really good on her turns off only leg yay. we even rode thru the pole pattern without reins and i only had to use them at the turn around and coming back the last pole! So love my Monkey butt :)!! video taped myself so i can see what I need to work on as well as her now just need to actually ride her more often to improve stuff! I need to buy some tall socks tho holly raw calves from my new boots pull straps after riding Dolly Friday and Seminole today and having to use so much leg on the lazy butts!! Wasnt so bad after Dolly but Seminole is way wider so your calves always contact and rub its how she is built...even tho she is a bit of a porker it dont matter she is just a couch with legs and has been since she filled in at age 5 and she wasnt fat then!
