Roller Cast- i am always amazed when i come across blacks who speak of slavery but know nothing of how it ended in the western hemisphere..thomas jefferson initiated the first barbary war in 1801..eventually defeating the north africans and ending their slave trade in western europeans, british and american sailors....google william wilberforce......the man behind the movement to end slavery in england....the slavery abolition act was passed in 1834....what group was behind this effort? white Christian europeans who had the courage and ability to practice introspection and question the morality of something the vast majority of the world accepted out of hand....slavery. the english navy along with the uss constellation from the usa patrolled the coast of africa freeing thousands aboard slave ships and eventually put an end to the atlantic slave trade. white Christian europeans of the time were able to search their souls...admit their culture had been wrong and many spent their fortunes and lost their lives correcting that mistake....at the start of the civil war there were 15 slave states and 19 free states..the usa was hardly a monolith of slavery as the black agenda would have us believe...600,000 mostly white americans were killed in the civil war, more than have been killed in all wars the usa has fought since....and the end result was freeing slaves and the end of slavery in the usa......the same is true of segregation in the usa....once again the caucasian Christian american questioned the morality of segregation and came to the right answer....they had been wrong....admitted it and made legal amends....in 1964 the kkk killed 3 young civil rights workers in mississippi for registering blacks to vote....2 of the murdered where white boys......now compare the european white Christian timeline regarding slavery with that of other countries....saudi arabia for instance...the birthplace of islam...made slavery illegal in 1962 (i always wonder..do black muslims know this?)...the african nation of Mauritania....did not make slavery a crime until 2007 !!!! The white Christian european was far ahead of the global curve regarding the abolishment of slavery.
