Roma Downey may be a nice lady but she has a new age philosophy and incorporates it into the movie. The sad thing is that modern Christian leaders give her this platform. They endorse her instead of pointing out the errors and asking her to fix them. They dont need to condemn her. Im sure shes doing all this with good intentions, but what ever happened to honoring the scriptures. These same leaders preach a pre-tribulation rapture where we modern Christians dont have to go through any suffering but are taken up before the testing of the church by Satan. They also dont resist our evil government but through their interpretation of Romans 13 and their getting licensed by the state through 501c3 they have lost their effectiveness as the salt of the earth. No wonder so many of our youth leave the faith when they go to college. Theyre preached a gospel of the good life here and now with a Hollywood ending and no need to resist evil and suffer and they just cant handle the reality of life in real time, theyre overwhelmed by a zero tolerance for giving glory to God world that doesnt compromise in its evil.
