Please sign the petition to help her. .. via Aliosman Guner: Petition text Disturbing images revealed how a child was abusing a kitten in Bacau, Romania, while parents were laughing and giggling. Elena Savu, from Bacau Animal Police, reacted immediately to the video footage and went to rescue the cat. Images with the Police Officer holding the cat after the rescue went viral on the web. To everyone’s surprise, Elena Savu’s superior, Mr. Chief Officer Herciu Marinel decided to fire the woman for misbehaving. According to Marinel’s statement, Ms. Savu “was only interested in promoting her image, while ignoring the fundamental duties of her job. She was not interested in cooperating with all the other institutions involved in this case. She acted alone, selfishly.” This decision is outrageous and ridiculous. Is this what you get for doing a good job? We demand that Ms Elena Savu, a true hero, be reinstated! PS.
